International Flights / Wide Bodied Airliners and Private Corporate Jet Charters:

Long haul international flights have very special requirements and considerations to be addressed.  Australia is geographically positioned so as to necessitate the utilisation of aircraft designed for long distance flight, i.e. 13 plus hour sectors.  Regardless whether the travelling group is 250/300 (airliners) or 12 passengers (corporate jets) there are specific aircraft designed for the flight and others that are inappropriate due to limited endurance and onboard facilities.

If considering lengthy international flight it is conceivable that smaller, more cost effective aircraft may be utilised but in the long run they will prove to be less appropriate and more expensive due to limited endurance necessitating many more tech (refuelling) stops, overnights due to flight crew limitations and mandatory crew rest rules.

There are many aircraft such as Airbus A330/Boeing 787 airliners, Global Express XRS and Gulfstream 650 corporate jets that are in their element taking on Trans Pacific flights with anything from 12 to 300 passengers aboard.  JetCorp Australia recently excelled by flying 912 passengers to remote international locations and domestically within Australia over a four day period.  Again this was an exercise in providing the most appropriate aircraft for these challenging locations.  All passengers arrived safely and on time allowing everyone to go about their business as planned.
